Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy offers you an opportunity to sit with a trained, experienced therapist who will listen attentively and actively without judgement or criticism. In the space created, you reflect on your life, your relationships and your past or future with a view to addressing whatever source of suffering you may have in your life at present. People come to therapy for a very wide variety of reasons from anxiety, low-mood, relationship difficulties, family issues, a loss of meaning in life, when they feel disconnected from themselves, or if they want to address particular thoughts, behaviours or emotions which are causing some impairment in living fully and joyfully.

Here at Introspect Counselling & Psychotherapy, we believe that with an emotionally safe, supportive and active therapeutic relationship, you can learn to live more fully, with greater joy and a sense of fulfilment in yourself, within your family, your work or your community.

Our practice emphasises your strengths and life experiences and to create meaningful goals for a better now. Our therapists are active, engaged and collaborative throughout the therapy process. We tailor our service to your needs, creating a bespoke therapy for each client.

At Introspect Counselling & Psychotherapy, our foundational values are respect for your experience, understanding you in the context of your life, empathy for your specific life circumstances. We place your mental health and wellbeing at the centre of our relationship.
